Announcement - Samantha Hyde to leave Youth United as Interim Director

Our Interim Director, Samantha Hyde, will be finishing her contract with the Youth United Foundation on 31 January 2019.

Sam has made a very significant contribution to the Foundation since she joined us last August, strengthening relationships with both government and the Youth United Network, as well as playing a pivotal role in securing a £5m grant from DCMS to fund further growth and increased sustainability in uniformed youth provision across the UK. Overall Sam has raised £6m, also securing funding from the Prince of Wales Charitable Foundation and the MHCLG for core costs and for the delivery of integration strategy priorities in England.

The Trustees and the Youth United Network are extremely grateful to Sam for everything she has done, and wish her the very best for the future.

The Foundation has now begun the process of recruiting a permanent Director; details are available on
